Momni Alterations began in 2009 when mother-daughter duo Mary and Joy Lee opened a small alterations shop in Jacksonville's Murray Hill neighborhood. As Momni grew, so did the vision. What began as an alterations shop eventually led to the creation of Momni Boutique, allowing the business to serve women through both expert tailoring and thoughtfully curated fashion. For many years, the two businesses operated side by side, each complementing the other.

In 2026, Momni Alterations and Momni Boutique officially became separate businesses, creating space for each brand to grow and flourish in its own way. While Momni Boutique continues to focus on fashion and styling, Momni Alterations remains dedicated to the craft that started it all: providing exceptional alterations, tailoring, and garment care.
